As a proud teacher, husband and father of two young children, Ryan is concerned about the potential impact of a UCP government on Alberta families. He is running as MLA to ensure Alberta’s government helps everyday, hard working people.
Born and raised in the Wood Buffalo region, Ryan holds a degree in Education from the University of Lethbridge and he currently teaches grade eight to 12 Social Studies in Elk Point. As a teacher, he strongly believes that the politicization of the curriculum update by the UCP is unacceptable. He is committed to fighting to ensure that our students receive the quality education that they deserve.
Ryan is concerned about Alberta’s economy, and is joining Rachel Notley’s team to fight for increased pipeline capacity and to diversify the economy. Also a passionate defender of the environment, he believes it is possible to both grow the economy and have a framework in place to be environmentally responsible.
Over the years, Ryan has worked to be an active member of his community. While living in Lethbridge, he served as the president of the university curling club and in Elk Point Ryan and his wife are involved with community theatre. Ryan was also recently appointed his school’s Teacher Welfare Representative.
Ryan Clarke and Rachel Notley's team are setting the course for a future that is for all Albertans, not just a select few. There's no room to turn back and undo our progress. Donate today to help elect Ryan Clarke and join the fight for Alberta's future.Donate today
